As a saxophonist, educator, composer, and cultural ambassador, my life’s work has been dedicated to shaping sound into experience. With a foundation rooted in formal study and decades of professional performance, I approach every stage with intention, excellence, and artistry.

Whether performing on soprano, alto, tenor, or baritone saxophone, or guiding students toward their own musical voice, my mission remains the same: to elevate, to inspire, and to connect.

My journey has carried me from directing Grammy-recognized music programs in Houston to serving as Board President of Jazz Education Inc., and from leading church and community ensembles to opening for world-class artists such as The Manhattans, Roy Ayers, Bobby Lyle, Joe Sample, Lionel Hampton, and George Clinton. Each opportunity has strengthened my commitment to musical integrity and cultural legacy.

As a BMI composer and publisher, studio owner, and former academy director, I understand music from every angle — performance, education, business, and community impact. In 2025, I had the honor of representing Houston internationally as a Jazz Ambassador, performing at the Angola International Jazz Festival for the American Schools of Angola and UNESCO affiliates — a moment that affirmed music’s global language and unifying power.
